Michigan Calligraphy Exhibition 2015: Written in the Mitten

Here is another calligraphy event for 2015, this one in the state of Michigan.

Pen Dragons Calligraphy Guild and Michigan Association of Calligraphers present Written in the Mitten Calligraphy Exhibition

April 18, 2015 – July 11, 2015

Ella Sharp Museum, 3225 4^th St, Jackson, MI 49203

This year’s exhibition is a joint endeavor by the Michigan Association of Calligraphers and Pen Dragons Calligraphy Guild. We chose the Ella Sharp Museum in Jackson, MI as a central meeting place for this exciting exhibition. This will be a juried exhibition and will be populated by the finest of contemporary and well as classic works of calligraphic art. The opening reception will be held the day the exhibit opens on April 18^th, 2015, from 2pm to 4pm. Vicki Corwin of Michigan Association of Calligraphers has agreed to give a calligraphy demonstration and Jan Ewing from Pen Dragons has agreed to give an introduction to her slide presentation about contemporary calligraphy. This is a great opportunity to see beautiful works of calligraphic art by some of the best calligraphers in the state of Michigan.
